Celebrate the 4th of July in Matthews on Saturday, July 3. Activities begin at 5:30 p.m. in front of Town Hall as everyone gathers to decorate their bicycles, scooters or wagons with free patriotic items provided by the Matthews Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources Department.
Then join us for the People's Parade at 6 p.m. The parade route is from Town Hall to Stumptown Park. Games and activities are from 6:30-7 p.m.
End the night with “Too Much Sylvia” who will perform a free concert in Stumptown Park at 7 p.m.
This event is co-sponsored by the Arts & Science Council.
