Breaking & Entering Motor Vehicle Arrests

On Sunday, October 14, 2018, at approximately 11:16 p.m., Matthews Police officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Annecy Drive regarding suspicious persons.  A resident had called in and said that four men, all dressed in dark clothing, were walking through driveways and looking into cars while trying to open the doors.  An officer responding to the area observed two males fitting that same description walking on Annecy Drive and attempted to make contact with them.  One of the individuals ran on foot and was apprehended a short time later, while the other was taken into custody.

After further investigation, it was discovered by Detectives and Officers that the suspects were responsible for breaking into several cars in this neighborhood.  The suspects were also in possession of a stolen vehicle out of Charlotte.  The two suspects below were identified and charged with the following:

Mr. Tyre James Davis DOB - 05/17/2000

Breaking or Enter a Motor Vehicle (3 counts)

Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle

Simple Possession of Marijuana

Resist a Public Officer

Suspect - Davis, Tyre

Mr. Draven Fulgenzi DOB – 08/13/2002

Breaking or Enter a Motor Vehicle (3 counts)

Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle

Simple Possession of Marijuana 

Suspect - Fulgenzi, Dravon
