B&E of Motor Vehicle / Fraud

On Tuesday, February 5, 2019, at approximately 7:35 pm., Matthews Police received a call regarding a vehicle that had been broken into in the parking lot of the Windsor Square Shopping Center located at 9915 E. Independence Blvd.  The victim told officers that when he returned to his car, he noticed that the door lock was damaged and his wallet was missing from inside which contained his identification and credit cards.

On Thursday, February 7, 2019, at approximately 7:00 p.m., the pictured suspect used the victim’s stolen credit card to make a fraudulent purchase at the Walmart located at 1830 Galleria Blvd.
